Implants
In
some situations dental implants are the best treatment
option. We most often use these where there are one
or two missing teeth that are adjacent to undamaged teeth
that we want to maintain, or where a denture does not
have enough grip on the jaw. The implants are placed
by specialists and the teeth are usually restored by us.
Extractions
Though
we hate to see them leave, sometimes it is necessary
for teeth to be extracted. To have the tooth extracted
most efficiently, we usually refer our extractions to
an oral surgeon. We may do our own less complicated
extractions or extractions where an immediate aesthetic
concern needs to be addressed, and we often do extractions
on children's teeth.
